So I have a £10 Amazon voucher to spend. Although I often treat myself too much (as indicated by yesterday’s purchases), this offers guilt-free purchasing. I don’t have to think about how my money would be best spent on a bill because I don’t have the choice when it’s a voucher. Hurrah.
I have to figure out what to buy though which is trickier. I can add an extra few quid with minimum guilt due to various reasons so that expands my options.
Currently, and mostly off the top of my head I’m tempted by:
The Sims 3 which would cost me £10. I love The Sims, very stereotypical of me I know but it’s so damn addictive and brilliant. Loved the first two and Dan Lipscombe keeps telling me how good this one is.
Anno 1404 which would cost £1.99. Someone on Twitter, Mike Jennings I think, told me this was great and it sounds just right for me.
Yakuza 3 which would cost £20. Sounds just like my sort of thing although I could wait and rent it from Boomerang at a later date instead, plus £20 is quite a bit for me at the moment.
World of Warcraft 60 day Gamecard, that’d cost me £5.99 and would be rather useful as mine runs out at the end of the month and I’d rather not use my debit card to pay for it if I could use a voucher instead.
Finally there’s the Buy 1 Get 1 free deal on Disney Blu-rays at the moment. I’d almost certainly get Toy Story 1 and 2. I’ve never seen Toy Story 2 and not seen the original in years. It’d cost me £6.99 for 2 Blu-rays which is pretty good, but would they just sit in my unwatched Blu-ray pile? It is already large.
Oh plus I could (and probably will for a week or so) just save it until something springs out at me and demands I purchase it.
So yes, plenty of options.
What would you do? And would you do something entirely different?
