Sundays should always be for relaxing if you ask me. It doesn’t always happen that way. The day job gets in the way of course as I work most weekends. Writing work, rightfully, gets in the way too not that I ever begrudge it.
Today, though, has been pretty leisurely. I’ve got some writing work to do this evening but I’m feeling quite refreshed for tackling that.
This morning I had a rather nice lie in before playing Fable 3 while chatting to a friend. Once that was finished, I wandered off out for a quick browse in Game and to pick up a chicken for dinner tonight. I went to Game to acquire some treasure with my Fable 3 Kingmaker App. That didn’t really go very well. No matter how much I tried, it wouldn’t accept that I was actually in the store. As I was getting increasingly irritated by the staff pestering me to see if I needed help (damn you keen Christmas temps!), I gave up.
Popped into work too to rent Robin Hood and to learn some ridiculous news that I can’t really write about.
More Fable 3 followed then some lovely warmed up pain au chocolat and watching nonsense on TV.
Now I’m sitting here watching Iron Man on Blu-ray while I wait for the chicken to finish cooking. Then it’s a huuuuuuuge roast dinner – roast chicken, brussels sprouts, carrot and swede mash, cauliflower cheese, sage and onion stuffing, yorkshire puddings and gravy – and Iron Man 2 on Blu-ray.
Should be a nice evening 🙂
I’ve had quite an urge to resubscribe to World of Warcraft but a 5gb patch is in my way anyway so that’s quite handy in a way.
I feel rejuvenated ready for the week which is excellent news. I’ve also got a week untainted by day job work (I’m not in again till Sunday) which should give me plenty of time to get plenty of writing done and come up with some sound ideas.
