So, my birthday then.
It turned out quite well too.
Annoyingly the produce market didn’t have my favourite crepe stall which was rather annoying, but I did pick up some rather nice quiche for dinner and some cupcakes for dessert.
Then I came home and opened my presents. The picture below tells a thousand words, or at least a couple of hundred:
After that, I felt a bit lost admittedly. It’s still a bit of a tricky day although I’m not sure if that’s understandable to many these days. Birthdays and Christmas, my Dad should be about, and of course he can’t be. So instead we went out shopping.
It was good fun. Lots of browsing more than anything. I spent £10 of my birthday money on Citizen Kane and Tropic Thunder on DVD, and Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP which seems ok for £4. Then we picked up some bargain 50p sandwiches from Boots (reduced as it was getting late) and sat by the seafront as the weather was so nice. Nice and relaxing.
I was knackered by the time I got home so settled into a spot of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. My Aunt phoned then and here I am at 10pmish.
Tomorrow will be a family day with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. Should be nice.
Anyway, I’ve got chocolate and quiche to eat!
