I’ve felt rather down this past week, not just for the obvious reasons but because I feel like my writing work isn’t really progressing. I’m hardly earning anything from it despite doing quite well before Christmas, and I just feel a little out of sorts. However the end of the week has picked up a little and the future is quite fun even if it’s not very profitable!
In a couple of weeks time B4HD is launching and I’m rather looking forward to it.
It’s the brainchild of Dan Lipscombe with myself appointed as deputy editor and a great group of writers have been found for the project. It’s going to be a website devoted to retro gaming with a variety of reviews, retrospectives and other bits and pieces. I love looking back at old games that I’ve loved so it should be great fun to write about.
Dan’s done a great job and forged some terrific links with retro fan favourite GoodOldGames which is particularly exciting.
I don’t want to spoil too much as to what’s being covered but I’m looking forward to returning to the world of Broken Sword 2 and 3, amongst a few other ideas.
Anyway, do follow the site’s Twitter feed @B4HD. We launch on May 3rd and have some great content lined up.
